Marketing live lobster world wide is not always easy. This work requires excellent attention to detail and fluid logistics. Our customers are all around the globe. Conducting business in person is often rare, and when the opportunity presents, we always seize the moment.

The largest seafood trade show in the world is Seafood Expo Global in Brussels. This show, now in its twenty second year, is a critical time for us to see our current customers and build relationships with new ones. But the senseless attacks on Brussels last month forced us to take a serious look at our participation in the show. After talking with our team and discussing our safety and all of the special security measures that Diversified Communications had organized for SEG, we decided to forge ahead with our plans to exhibit.

We’ve been exhibiting at this show since 2012 and each year has been different. The foot traffic was noticeably down this year. But the people who attended were high quality buyers looking for a strong supply of the finest live lobster. And we were happy to be there to make those connections. We built strong relationships and had an opportunity to visit with our existing customers. It was a great show, and we look forward to returning in 2017!
